I cannot believe we've only been back three weeks now. In a way, it seems like we've been here for ages, but I certainly did very much miss the castle, and most of the people in it. I spent the summer at home with a couple of weeks up at grans', which is always loads of fun. Then there were a few games I attended to watch Rog, who really doesn't need the ego, but was quite good actually. Our first Quidditch match is still forever way, though I'm pleased they haven't cancelled it yet! Try-outs are coming up really quickly, so I've been spending every spare moment out on the pitch making sure I'm in top condition. I doubt I won't make it onto the team, but merlin knows I wouldn't be happy until the notice is down on ink and parchment. In completely unrelated news, I'm almost done with the History of Magic text, so I think I'll be needing something new to read soon enough. Speaking of, Ter, please tell me you've brought something interesting to swap? | |||

Hello, I suppose it is avbout time I write in here. I've had it for a while now, as Anna gave it to me when I returned a few months ago, just haven't had all that much time to look at it. I'm not entirely sure of its usefulness, but I hardly got to see any of my siblings in ages and I hope it will aid in reconnecting? I imagine it might help if I itroduce myself. Mandy Brocklehurst, Cursebreaker at Gringotts and recently returned from the Amazon. I graduated from Ravenclaw in 1998, which honestly feels like a lifetime ago. I haven't seen many people I know though. I suppose with so many people on the this thing, it may be just a bit harder to find everyone. Actually, I still have to owl people back, I just haven't had anything of interest to write. It seems office work is nowhere near as interesting as I had thought (Not that I gave it all that much credit to begin with). Then again, one can hardly compare paperwork to working out on the field. At least here I don't have to worry about finding someone who can understand me nor worry about breaking my neck. Other than that things are going fairly well actually. I've been back in the UK nearly three months now, though sometimes if feels like more. I'm settling in well enough into my flat and seeing Terry as often as we can manage. I would help if his schedule wasn't so demanding. But I digress. I think that'll do for now, I still have to run down to the shop for some milk, or won't have anything for breakfast tomorrow morning.
